Why Do Firefighters Volunteer?

It takes a special kind of person to become a professional volunteer firefighter. We all come from many walks of life and range in personalities, but we all have the same goal in mind...that is to help our community. While serving, you will learn new skills, be part of a team which is more like a family, gain experience, develop a future career/build a resume, and so much more!

Key Requirements:

  • Ages 18+
  • Primary residence in the Tool, Tx area
  • No experience required (we will train)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Monday night trainings
  • Background checks (we will run during application process)

Applications available at the fire station; coming to website soon.

For more information about the department and the many ways you can help as a volunteer, please fill out the form below.
